hi is it just me or every time i upgrade to any version after 10.8.5 my thumbnails stop showing correctly. i get nothing as far as an image of the movie is concerned?

Is this happening to anyone else because as soon as i revert back to 10.8.5 the thumbnails return showing correctly?

Does anyone know how to fix this in v10.8.8?
