I am having some trouble with the keygen though...although all of the SN's are in fact actual SN's (as the prog informs me), the application is telling me that it is not the one needed. I am using the ones form the Premium list...also tried most of the other ones...I probably put in close to 200 differenty SN's to register, but no luck. Has anyone else had any problems with the keygen? If you had Nero installed, there's no need to uninstall and install a new one. If you try to install with one already on your system, it will inform you whether you want to uninstall, or upgrade the software.The serial will always be the same one. LOLI used to have Nero 5 installed on this machine and it came bundled with my original CD burner that I purchased like at least 6 years ago, OEM. I have since upgraded to a DVD burner (also about 3 years old now blah) and the old Nero wouldnt work with it...it wasnt DVD capeable. So I had to resport to once again bundled software which this time was Roxio...and I think Crapio would adequately sum up what I think of it.I d-loaded Nero7 from here and really the install was fine untill it came to the register field where it asked me for the SN which the popup says are correct...but that its not used for this application.Anywho...I am just a little unsure of what you are asnwering me with...a solution, or another option? Now, because we want to have a burner on, and we all know there is no problems with the latest builds of version 6, that's what we'll use.6.6.1.4 is the latest version in the 6 series. They're still working on this series even though 7 is their "latest". You can download that from here: http://www.nero.com/en/select_server.php?pak=1Notice the "Nero-6.6.1.4_no_yt.exe" doesn't include the Yahoo Toolbar, which is good news for us. Once you've downloaded it to a destination of your choice, run an app such as CCleaner to remove any traces of the previous version you had on there. Registry keys can be cleaned using the "Issues" tab left hand side. OK, nero 7.5.4 and the sn business. I have the same prob but not an old version of nero or sn thanks to nero. I had back up some proggies I had in my doucments prior to reformat but ended up with a coaster with some great stuff on it I can no longer recover.
