Anyone who don't want to buy this software every year is stuck using and old version anyways . Its rentware . When old comes out its fine for most every one because its new but once new comes out they see it not fine anymore . If it was not fine at some period before it was never worth using no how . Thats cool but now your stuck using crippled trial version that has like 7 things missing vs the pro . I'm more interested in is there version before 6.90 that worked right for it. Maybe that's the reason he still didn't make his program HWID activation reliant, so there isn't any kind of workarounds left to try, making of cracking it (which just a few ones might be able to do it fully right) the only way to go; but even if he doesn't feel like that, he could just avoid carded keys being used with workarounds, by delivering time-limited, fake keys as CDRoller's paranoiac devs. do (with all their clients, no exceptions). Thus, even when someone manages to get a key the fraudulent way, the program will revert to trial mode after some weeks of use, since they will not be using real working keys. In the case of CDRoller program, even legit users are gonna get the definitive real keys, only after a period of time determined by the authors themselves.Some weeks ago, I managed to keep v6.7 regged, using a private leaked key, along the old rustic routing method. A plain bat file did the job of delivering the proper xml and dat files where they belong, as well as adding the ip blocking routes at the same time. The last step can be done thru' the router's config also, in case Gavrila manages to ban it somehow under Windows; in such case, he better finds out how to intrude into the router then. Its already been studies that prove that many pirates if they use something so long and they think its worth it they will buy it . The pirates who cant afford will not buy it , as anyone else that cant afford such leisure want buy it ether. Really by not letting a version be pirated every so often there just losing potential customers that are pirates that will never give there software the time of day . Sentry Posted November 11, 2014 Share Posted November 11, 2014 Sometimes the devs. don't understand that point or even refuses to approve it, and just concentrates on trying to stop piracy at all costs, it doesn't matter how stupid and/or non-sense the measures they take are. Occasionally, they even reach the point of cluttering the programs with a lot of anti-crack shit, which make them unnecessarily unstable and buggy. In this particular case, the dev. tried many different countermeasures against pirates along the years, but he still didn't settle it. It would actually make a lot more of sense, if he tries to make it cheaper or deliver lifetime licenses at least, and not jumping to whole new versions every a few insignificant changes, instead. There just after money they may or may not get from suing select individuals ,but not stop it . Reality is times are rough people do not buy things like they once did . Even people that don't use pirated software are just using free stuff mostly . No software you have to have really you will be fine without it .
