Mojang is now part of the Microsoft Studios family

From The Inquirer:

The final inking of the deal was revealed today on Twitter by Phil Spencer, who is head of Microsoft's Xbox division.

"It's official," he said. "Today we welcome Mojang to the Microsoft Studios family. We're excited for the possibilities ahead w/the Minecraft community."

Microsoft announced that it was buying the Minecraft maker Mojang for $2.5bn in September and breezily boasted of the blocky possibilities.

they won't do anything to minecraft, other than changing the login proccess perhaps. minecraft has one of the most rabid communities of any game. if they dare to impose their own conventions into the game they risk losing everything so it's in their own best insterests to just sit back and reap the rewards
