fredlaso
Frontline Healthcare Workers Must Protect Themselves from Aerosol Transmission of Ebola Weve noted for some time that Ebola can be spread by aerosols to frontline healthcare workers. The CDC is finally admitting this fact. The CDC put out a new poster stating: Droplet spread happens when germs traveling inside droplets that are coughed or sneezed from a sick person enter the eyes, nose, or mouth of another person. Droplets travel short distances, less than 3 feet (1 meter) from one person to another. A person might also get infected by touching a surface or object that has germs on it and then touching their mouth or nose. *** Clean and disinfect commonly touched surfaces like doorknobs, faucet handles, and toys, since the Ebola virus may live on surfaces for up to several hours. Meryl Nass, M.D. a board-certified internist and a biological warfare epidemiologist and expert in anthrax - comments: CDC says it doesnt travel farther than 3 feet. Well, at least CDC is starting to move the narrative. Maybe tomorrow it will be 5 feet. Then 10. Maybe next month they will tell us why all the victims possessions are being incinerated and apartments fumigated. Just remember: historically, Ebola spread fast in healthcare facilities. http://www.washingtonsblog.com/2014/10/cdc-finally-gets-right-ebola-spreads-aerosols-3-feet.html

alaindc
Sneeze travel much farther than that. (or they talk about someone sick in bed)Mythbusters sneeze test result1. Droplets from Adam’s and Jamie’s sneezes traveled at 35 mph (56 km/h) and 39 mph (63 km/h), respectively.2. Droplet from a sneeze can travel up tp 17 ft (5.2 m) for Adam and 13 ft (4.0 m) for Jamie. CODYQX4
The CDC is handling this virus just like every cliche viral outbreak movie. It would be so comical if it was just a movie and not a real virus that could kill very high percentages of the world population.
