On the bright side this is not Nero

I was only looking at this program a day ago to replace Nero with, and this update wasn't there. And now it's been updated.

I am looking at using either this or BurnAware.

No links to minimal versions yet?

Update: it seems the "minimal" versions have been discontinued, anyone can confirm?

if you're not going to write a version of CDBurnerXP that DOES NOT have Open Candy in it

We always had a version without OpenCandy freely available.

And in fact, the current version of CDBurnerXP doesn't use OpenCandy at all (though that may be just temporary). So I don't really understand what you are ranting for.

Portable versions are also still available on their site.

Edit. Can't you just de-select any bundled crap? It's not hard.
