geeteam
If you thought we have seen the last of webOS (aside from LG TVs), think again as LG is also looking to use the operating system to power smartwatches. A software development kit for a webOS smartwatch has been teased on an LG-owned developer website (link no longer works). The company already has two Android-powered watches available on the market, including the G Watch R (pictured above), but LG could well be looking to work on its own platform. It would be interesting to see LG load webOS on smartwatches, especially with its own line of smart televisions already running the OS. This could well be some form of insurance for the company to have multiple options available platform-wise, or we could well see webOS taking on Android and other platforms in the near future. Unfortunately, that's all we've got so far, so be sure to sound off in the comments on what you'd like to see on a webOS smartwatch.Source
