CCleaner (Crap Cleaner) is a freeware system optimization, privacy and cleaning tool. It removes unused files from your system allowing Windows to run faster and freeing up valuable hard disk space. It also cleans traces of your online activities such as your Internet history. Additionally it contains a fully featured registry cleaner. But the best part is that it's fast (normally taking less than a second to run) and contains NO Spyware or Adware!

Thanks to sternog and selesn777 for the update.

Yeah, i second that, WTF is the difference between active monitoring and system monitoring?

And, why THE HELL is it enabled by default???? (this one is mostly rhetorical)

I REALLY hope piriforn doesn't start screwing up their (up to now) excelent software.

I find a bug which is that CCleaner will eat CPU preformance due to their new monitor system it will cause "WmiPrvSE.exe" to use 30% to 50% of your CPU so disable it until they fix that.

I'm not if you see a problem related to a CPU usage and WmiPrvSE.exe use a huge amount of CPU make sure to disable CCleaner monitor.

It's good suggestion, but I guess it's just your problem.

none such issue in my system. :) I'm using Pro. Better you send report to Piriform. Btw, what OS are you running ?

What's the difference between system monitoring & active monitoring?

See Here and Here

If you fancy with Monitored, just switch on both option.
