Federal Finance Minister Joe Oliver will announce Thursday a small business tax credit that will save business owners about half a billion dollars over the next two years, CTV News has learned.

The tax credit, which will help offset employment insurance premiums, will benefit up to 90 per cent of small businesses in Canada, CTV’s Ottawa Bureau Chief Robert Fife reported Wednesday night.

Wait now, employment premiums went up for average middle class working Canadians as well yet we get no tax relief... Interesting...

I don't concur with the solutions offered by the opposition because I've already created the job! It would be like jumping back through hoops to benefit with the NDP or waiting on the Liberals to re-invest (lose) the tax savings. Canadians are smart and the Conservatives are progressively extracting the wisdom, letting Canadians be the investors, which is why Canada is rising fast.
