The instructor should have known the 'line of travel' the gun would take if she could not control it. The idiot had his head/face directly in this potential 'line of travel'. The place was having what they call “Burgers and Bullets” day. He should of stuck with the burgers. Ketchup on your lap is always preferable to having your face on your lap! IMO the instructor alone is to blame. Tough lesson to learn.the instructor is far, far, far from the only one to blame. the idioys that didn't make this against the law, the parents for setting this up and condoning it, the range owner are all to blame as well.
