brain_death
DirectWrite support is fine but it should be *off* by default as in Firefox, after the debacle of v.4-6 inclusive. Turn it on if you want to...M$IE could take a leaf out of this book also. Worst fcuking year for browsers *ever*, as someone on this forum said. :pos:
Lacius
FF is 64-bit, but then its name is Waterfox or Cyberfox or Pale Moon or Firefox Nightly 64-bit or....Waterfox's security updates are highly erratic and inconsistent (sometimes skipping version numbers entirely between updates), and updates could also cease at any time. Cyberfox uses the source from Firefox ESR, which limits one to whichever is the current ESR build for months, and updates could also cease at any time. Firefox Nightly is unstable, which goes without saying. Let me know when Firefox Stable goes 64-bit.
Kalju
Let me know when Firefox Stable goes 64-bit.Well, if you mean that the same team will make a 64-bit version, which makes a 32-bit version, then some time ago, they said that they will not do it no more and will not do it in future also again. They tried, but like most of other 64-bit systems, it wasn't stable and it not worked well, they gave up.Ah yes, now they have some kind of a problem with Google, we'll see what goes in future. Purple Trail
The closest to a stock 64 bit Firefox I've gotten is the builds by XhmikosR: http://xhmikosr.1f0.de/firefox/Source: BrainDedd on Neowin.
