Thanks for the update. We kind of need the offline installer setup link before frontpaging. I'm a bit lost on how to find it as of now.

Here it is :

http://cache.pack.google.com/edgedl/chrome/win/6496C2EE06CCA66B/37.0.2062.94_chrome_installer.exe

Really, is there really the same setup file, which was the 20th of August the beta version setup file? Such a thing haven't never before been?

Yes, it is; beta becomes stable version for Chrome sometimes does this. :p

The point is simply that there was always changed also the link, ie, even if is the same installer, becomes its location on the server.

In other words - this number or what it is [6496C2EE06CCA66B] must be another..

Now I got the stable channel data.

File Name 37.0.2062.94_chrome_installer.exeFile Size 38.05MBDate Published 26-Aug-2014MD5 Checksum 31b233d2a9b3ba7220f52b6c94c4076fhttp://dl.google.com/chrome/win/37.0.2062.94_chrome_installer.exehttps://dl.google.com/edgedl/chrome/win/6496C2EE06CCA66B/37.0.2062.94_chrome_installer.exe

Maybe it's the same file, which was in the cache folder, I do not know yet, but this is the official link.

Now I can say - isn't the same - added 50 security fixes. So, if you have installed the old, then it is advisable to do an update. (Although the number is the same, the installer isn't the same.)

I use the 357KB "GoogleChrome Offline Link Sniffer.exe" utility through Nsane some time ago to get the offline installer for Chrome Stable, Beta and Dev versions and it got the numbers each time it changed. ;)
