Administrator Matt Posted August 20, 2014 Administrator Share Posted August 20, 2014 Tixati is an easy to use Torrent client that distinguishes itself from the competition with a no-nonsense interface, easily accessible options and several advanced features not commonly found. Tixati offers detailed bandwidth statistics and options to restrict incoming and outgoing bandwidth for all transfers or only selected files. Other features include detailed views of all aspects of the swarm, including peers, pieces, files, and trackers, DHT, PEX, and Magnet Link support, Super-efficient peer selection and choking, RC4 connection encryption, UDP Peer Connections and NAT router hole-punching, Advanced features such as RSS, IP Filtering, Event Scheduler. Tixati also emphasizes the fact that they don't install or offer upgrades, toolbars or any other gimmicks that seem to be common among torrent clients. Thanks to sternog for the update.Download

Chancer
I've been using utorrent for some years. Is this better? If so why?Cheers
Ashish
initially when utorrent forced down the ads, tixati was a good alternative (but with an ugly gui), but now when ads can be easily disabled in utorrent, i feel no need to switch to tixati
Pedrito
I've been using Tixati for over a year and I find it to be the best torrent client! It has more features than any other client, it's more stable and fast, at least for me.I love it!
masterupc
It handles the downloads smoothly and it has an IP filter that actually works.Yeah, it's ugly but I feel more comfortable using tixati over other clients.Give it a try.
EXILE
How does it compare to qBittorrent?
MrEprize
How does it compare to qBittorrent?I use both and find Tixati to fit my needs better. The IP filter is easy to setup and auto updates. You can set as many speed schedules as you want. It has cool graph for DHT.It has an option to alter almost everything to suite your needs.x86 and x64 versions available. You can make various bandwidth presets.Right click on any torrent and you can adjust Priority, seeding ratio, etc..Great client! It may seem daunting at first but you grow accustom to it with use.I use qBittorrent occasionally for special cases.
Nastrahl
I would rather use a client that got more than one update every 1.5 years.
