Is it better than using a VPN such as Cyberghost VPN ?

Smart DNS Proxy only send the traffic that has to go through the US or any other country. Hit Netflix, and only the needed data packets goes via Smart DNS Proxy US proxy. Hit the ABC, and it goes directly from you to the ABC.

So it's much faster then VPN incase of video streaming. But it doesn't provide you traffic encryption like VPNs to provide you full internet traffic encryption.

Another benefit of Smart DNS Proxy is that you can use it with multiple devices like AppleTV, PS3/PS4, Roku, NowTV, Chromecast, as well as PC/Mac etc. without any need of another router hardware investment like on VPN.

NO. As mentioned in the Privacy Policy there is no LOG keeping on Smart DNS Proxy.

"The Website does not, and will not, actively monitor user activity for inappropriate behaviour, nor do we maintain direct logs of any customer's Internet activities."

Here you can find a screen from their Services page that shows the country of websites they are unblocking : http://r.1ve1.net/wx8P/4Zci9Oua

Smart DNS Proxy is a unique technology and it's not like VPNs. So there is no need to mention how many proxy servers or networks. It's focused on unblocking the websites for high speed video streaming.

The idea behind is that your video streaming doesn't go through Smart DNS Proxy network. All videos directly comes to your device/pc from the remote website (ie Netflix). So you always get the most possible speed.

It's a giveaway link provided by the Smart DNS Proxy itself only for nsaneforum! In order to provide you the giveaway the "afid" has to be linked. Otherwise you won't be able to see the 3 Month Free deal in the signup page.

How to switch countries proxy ?

There is no country switching needed :). You simply browse www.netflix.com and it opens netflix for you. Then you can browse www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer and it will open as well. You can open 2 websites from the same browser as well. There is no connection or disconnection. Your internet just works as it's. The only difference is that you will also be able access the international blocked websites.

Do you know how to download hulu videos ?

This worked for me in the past.

1st Setup Smart DNS Proxy on your PC which you are accessing Hulu.com website.

Click on the "UPGRADE" link, this will take you to the following page.

hulu_homepage.jpg

Click on the "Try 1 Week Free" button to access the sign up form as shown below. Fill in the form and be sure to remember the password you choose here, as you will need it to log in to Hulu Plus in the future.

Submitting the form should take you to the page shown below. Click on the "Upgrade: Try it Free" button. This will take you to the form where you enter in your payment details.

The credit card trick works in this way. You enter in your normal credit card (an American Express card is highly recommended but you may test with VISA or MASTERCARD as well), but for the ZIP code, you have to construct one from your own post code - simply add a "0" (zero) to the end of your post code (or add a "1" to the front), and then check this website to see if it corresponds to a valid US ZIP code. If it doesn't, then try a different number at the end until you get one that does. If none works, then use the time-tested "90210" (but it's usually better if it's based on your real post code - something similar to your real credit card postcode)

One additional consideration when choosing a ZIP code is that some US states have sales tax. The following states don't have sales tax: Alaska, Delaware, Montana, New Hampshire and Oregon - and so you may want to choose a ZIP code from one of these states, if you don't decide to use a ZIP code based on your actual post code.

If your credit card was accepted, you should now be able to see the welcome screen as shown below. If it didn't work, and trying other ZIP codes didn't work either, you may need to use a prepaid credit card. The best option is to head to the good old post office and grad a Load and Go prepaid credit card. Here is an interesting article about using prepaid credit cards to access US-based services.

Now that you have signed up to Hulu Plus

Can you use torrents on this?

Yes you can use torrent, but there won't be any difference with or without Smart DNS Proxy for torrent traffic, hence there is no encryption. Smart DNS Proxy is mainly designed to provide access global video & music services with the most possible speed with any device.
