But hey props to Stardock for at least disclosing when they make changes to activation/protection. Not many software developers give the courtesy of informing their adversaries about new defenses. This is a slap in the face to anyone who paid for it though. The first update since may and the only change is to fend off piracy and trial resetters? Open Windows Search and search for services.msc3. Stop the Startdock Start8 service, change its startup mode to 'Disabled'.4. Log out of the Windows and re-log in, then run the Patch and click the 'Patch' button.5. Start back the service, change the startup mode to "Automatic" again and log out and re-log in once again.6. LOL.Since that's the only change. bet they thought 1.45 would take months to patch.Meanwhile, people who paid for it get the inconvenience of having to activate all over again. Developers never learn, don't waste time trying to code antipiracy things because it just screws over people who buy your software rather than pirates. steven36 Posted August 17, 2014 Share Posted August 17, 2014 Tell martau that he would laugh at you I been using the same version of TU on x64 since 2013 because the last crack for x64 would not keep settings and the last crack only worked on x86 and had flaws on reboot uninstalls . If what you say was so pirates would have new versions everything they dont. All he proved by cracking this was he could beat there weak protection . But there's freeware alternatives like this program that's just as good are better. Just like there's better freeware video converters than most shareware ones better audio converters and better video players for free.I think programs that can be replaced easily by freeware are not even worth being cracked.
