donizme
In my opinion the Windows Starter Edition was always stupid. This is the message that Microsoft were secretly trying to make:“we r gona annoy u by only letting u open 3 windows so u buy the xpensive version muhaha”And not being able to change the desktop background? That clearly says:“so you don’t use more than 3 windows? we’re gona annoy u even more until u give us your money”They made the ridiculous claim that this limit will help netbooks run faster, if thats the case why have they been saying for months that any Win7 version will run on netbook? Why not just take windows media centre/movie maker/aero shake/ other features out and say buy the version with more features…thats what their doing with home prem/ultimate?I am glad to say that the negative media Microsoft have suffered may make them drop the 3 window limit. Thats according Paul Thurrott who is a blogger but also has sources inside Microsoft. Hes not sure about the desktop background thing though. Will Microsoft drop the 3 window limit? LeetPirate
hahaahahha, yes they took it one step further with windows 7. In vista if you have any version other than ultimate, there is a permanent link to "upgrade" windows, as if people really need to be seeing that all the time. If they wanted ultimate they would buy that version for crying out loud. Hell I figure that's the reason people pirate vista ultimate, just to stop seeing the adware in their legal version of vista that came with their computer. same story with every other microsoft product I guess, they don't stop bothering you till you buy more of their stuff. I think we should have the option of purchasing notebooks these days without a preinstalled OS, that would be great. I get worked up about the new level of stupid things microsoft is trying to do with windows 7 even thought I am fully aware that most of us here will probably have our own copy of win7 final way before the official release date and fully genuine ;)
