dcs18
Personally, I look forward to the forthcoming updates - it is a true reflection of a product that is being actively developed. Have observed that every Feature Pack so far, has raised the usability, productivity, work-flow and above all - the security of the OS. There is a helluva enhancement from Windows 8 to the Windows 8.1 Update in its current form. :showoff:On the other hand, those who hate updates & upgrades always have the option of disabling their Windows Update, on a permanent or temporary basis - moreover, they can even opt for selective updates. It is a great arrangement which, IMO - should keep everybody happy (provided they are not hagrid, about it.) geeteam
Of course, each and everyone has the ability to update or upgrade to his or her preference. But we dont like the fact that upgrading should cost a new installation. It happened to me when I was updating from Windows 8 to Windows 8.1, and the same happened from Windows 8.1 to Windows 8.1 Update and its gonna happen to Windows 8.1 Update 2.
