anuseems Posted May 14, 2014 Share Posted May 14, 2014 (edited) Microsoft is struggling to explain its requirement for Windows 8.1 customers to update to the latest version of the OS in order to receive bug and security patches.From Computerworld:Responding to complaints from commercial customers -- those who receive fixes via WSUS (Windows Server Update Services), Windows Intune or System Center Configuration Manager -- Microsoft buckled and extended the deadline to August. Why would 8.0 still be updating while 8.1 no longer will receive updates if you don't update it? And even then it's just called 8.1 update.
