Deunan Posted May 12, 2014 Share Posted May 12, 2014 So Intel Haswell refresh is now available on the LGA 1150 but with the new Z97 instead of the Z87.It comes in these flavors: Core i3-4150 3.5GHz, Core i5-4590 3.3GHz, Core i5-4690 3.5GHz and Core i7-4790 3.6GHz.The K versions will be available later. Core i5-4690k & Core i7-4790k.For those of you that just built a new PC using the Z87 which isn't compatible with the new Haswell Refresh.Which in turn means you need to upgrade to take advantage of the Refresh or the upcoming Broadwell Chips..But for those of you who are now looking to build a new system, you might want to jump on the new LGA 1150 Z97, or just tough it out till Skylake LGA 1151 comes...
