EZ CD Audio Converter 2.1.3 Build 1

Recommended Posts

EZ CD Audio Converter, formerly Easy CD-DA Extractor, rips audio CDs with exact and reliable error detection and two-pass verification of audio, allows editing of metadata supporting multiple services for retrieving high-quality metadata, and burns discs. It has a very fast multi-core audio converter that allows parallel audio conversion with up to 8 parallel converters. All combined in a user friendly interface.

Thanks to Vandit for the update.

Thanks for the heads up! :)

It's good that they keep updating it regularly, but it's also pretty annoying at the same time.

Its more than a bug fix this time. Internet metadata retrieval for files in audio converter.

This addresses the fact that audio files can come from the web as well as from personal CD rips.

The new metadata feature for files:
- First time, check 'Filename preview', or file name length(s) could exceed Windows maximum path length (260 characters).
- After this, database retrieval works very well for single file Cue Sheets.
- It doesn't work for multiple file Cue Sheets, and not particular good or bad on tracks.
For images 'dbPoweramp' stays king, for multiple tracks Cue Sheets, 'CueTools' still does the job.

Fallon dude we are talking about crack as a fix not what this version fixes! :)

Who would have guessed that. What would I do without you! :)
(I posted about EZCD metadata for files before, when it wasn't there yet).

  • 2 weeks later...

Signature has changed, now is Datecode 12/05/2014

This re-release starts up with a 10 seconds delay. After that it is freely usable without the evaluation period counting down anymore. Users are just 'expected' to buy after 30 days. (I guess the author wants to eliminate the need for cracked versions producing burning coasters - at least for this version). No doubt, a user friendly approach! :)

Signature has changed again. Now is Date Code is: 2014-05-26.

(Xenocoder, if you include the separate x86 and x64 setup, it will also be possible to run an x86 version from your uploaded archive on 64-bit systems).

As long as evaluation period stays at 30 days, in my opinion it is safest to run EZ CD as it is.

You will be more sure to avoid write errors, when burning, and therefore save discs.

But main executables were not changed (old sig date from the 22 of May), so I guess that XenoCoder`s fix is still up-to-date.

I should have checked that. (Btw, thanks for your work of which I profited often). :)
