Have you ever seen a Water Bridge?

Six years, 500 million euros, 918 meters long.......now this is engineering!

This is a channel-bridge over the River Elbe and joins the former East and West Germany, as part of the unification project. It is located in the city of Magdeburg, near Berlin. The photo was taken on the day of inauguration.

yeah, it's pretty sweet, and we have one here on the US too. it's used by a yacht manufacture to transport their ships out to sea (goes over a highway somewhere) :huh:

Damn that's pretty cool. Wouldn't the bridge break one day because of too much weight or something.

I think it will break someday....

but not some day near....

I think they would have taken in the worst case senarios....while designing it...

Will keep u posted if anything happens to the bridge Rudeboy... :huh:
