This is Win 7 professional laptop. My administrator account has this problem while I can log in file in guest account which has no password.I have searched the internet but the method shown is usually same and too difficult to follow. Can I do this by using Hierens boot cd or any other method as in guset account it also does give me error when I give administrator password..I have tried to rest password by windows offline nt password utility but it also fails.
