Help :CD-ROM Trouble

hello,

ill be simple ,

i bought new PC like 2 weeks ago. but the problem that when i load a CD inside the CD-ROM it reboot the PC

i've downloaded Windows 7, and i wanted to burn it to CD, so when i entered the CD it just rebooted it self serveral times

and after many tries, when i clicked on burn, it reboot it self again.

Any idea what the problem is and how to solve it ?

What is the brand of the CD-ROM?

Did you try updating the driver / firmware?

its : HL-DT-ST DVD-RAM GH22NS30

and how i can update the driver/ framework thing?

It might also have to do with your SATA connector, but first try updating your firmware as Bizarre suggested ;)

well good news that now i know the brand of my CD-Rom lol

and i installed the framework but i dont know if it worked or not

try what you was doing when your pc kept rebooting it self. if it keeps rebooting then report back here on what it's doing.
