Respect the people who has been posting some funny and interesting staff out there, but lately all i see some distracting images, texts, fighting, childish argument.It looks like shoutbox lately hack and run by some group of same kids everyday. Do i really need to see all this rubbish i guess not, am i the only one distracted by, do not think so.I was checking is there any setting to remove the shoutbox on my eyes can not see anything does any one know if there is anything to do this? Looks like some of the members uses Shoutbox only to insult other members, that's why Moderators should have this option, and Moderators should have more strict. A shoutbox is not a chat (not for me) and the question is what nsane thinks is the main purpose of it, is it a shoutbox or a chat?I think it's not fair, if a handful of members actually abuse the SB, getting the whole SB disabled which also affects members or just guests that have nothing to do with wrongdoings of others. If at all, members that don't follow the rules simply should get the SB permissions removed, if required.The SB doesn't need to be frontpaged, if you wanna use it, you could just click on the header bar to get redirected to it, so people aren't forced to read it. rudrax Posted March 23, 2014 Share Posted March 23, 2014 ShoutBox is necessary because it's the quickest facility in nsane to get assisted, share feelings (good ones), to have constructive arguments etc. But some people uses it to post pornography and personal abuses which exploits the quality of SB in front of some concious people and that's acceptable. Blaming SB for this isn't acceptable.I used to post links in some C-box to get my file leeched from some premium file hosting site. There was a rule - no porn links. If anyone breaks the rule, he gets banned for 3 hours. Do that again and get banned for a day. Oh you SONHB, you did that again - get banned for a week from posting. This was done by some virtual robot on execution of some specific commands from the admins/mods.I don't know if we can have such facility in Nsane SB or not but that's a good piece of idea. It's enough to have a SB just for simple chat with nsane emotiocons. Sharing of 3rd party graphics and other link should be done by PM. This will help limit pornography.
