Journey Posted March 16, 2014 Share Posted March 16, 2014 (edited) What I did to keep my registration valid...Install an older version of XNView (recommended version 2.13) then install XnView 2.20 over it. I did this and my key stays legit. The problems posted above might be for brand new first time installations of this program, I'm guessing. BTW, the key I generated came from XnView.1.93.6_KEYGEN-FFF. I suggest uninstalling this new version of XnView 2.20 first. Then click on "Run" type in "regedit" (without quotes) and delete the following folders (in bold print) that contain registration information: (this is safe to do)HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Management\ARPCache\XnView_is1HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Management\YUCache\XnView_is1HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\XnView_is1 <<<important: to delete this folderHKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\XnView <<<Important to delete this folderThen install XnView-win-full version 2.13 first (see link below to download), register it using XnView.1.93.6_KEYGEN-FFFhttp://www.mirrorcreator.com/files/1RMZVX9C/XnView-win-full.2.13.rar_links(See my post further up in this thread for the link to many keygens; post #4)(Also note the Lz0 keygen that ZeroZero posted above (post #10) generates the exact same key for any username you choose, as does the FFF keygens, so you cannot go wrong with either keygen you choose to use. The Lz0 keygen has a beautiful interface too. It's better than the FFF keygens I suggested, if that matters at all :P )Then install XnView 2.20 over the old one. You should be good for the go, hopefully.If all else fails, run the keygen, generate a key, then manually register it by running regedit using these two keys below:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\XnView_is1 <<<manually enter values for Inno Setup: UserHKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\XnView <<< manually enter the values for LicenseName and LicenseNumberNow run XnView 2.20 and see if it's registered..Good luck all...
