I guess we all dumped IE regardless of the Windows version.

IE is the number one browser to download another browser.

I agree NewEraCracker, in the past I used IE only to download Firefox, but then I got a laptop which has 2 HDD's inside, now I save all my installers to the 2nd HDD I have there, no more downloading installers.

I do have to mention that IE11 is not that bad, especially with Adblock Plus Beta, though it only supports one list at the moment so no complete adblocking yet for IE.

But IE11 is only for Windows 7 and 8 if I recall, and it's better supported only in Windows 8.
