freeforever03 Posted March 10, 2014 Share Posted March 10, 2014 Thanks for your comments. I had a similar installation experience. In my case I did a clean install and during the installation the screen went dark for at least 15 to 20 seconds. During that time I saw the disk being accessed and fortunately my displays were reactivated. I'm used to seeing the displays go dark for a few seconds but not for 20 seconds.At this point my system is running and I ran a few tests and things seem to be OK. Purple Trail Posted March 11, 2014 Share Posted March 11, 2014 (edited) No issues here as usual, installed on Windows 7/8.1. Who knows what clunky systems those experiencing issues have. Should certainly not take their advice or stop you from installing the drivers, unless you have a clunky system yourself.
