are you implying that to stay "safe" one must have "vanilla" windows only? sooo... what good is a computer if not for the programs it can run?

...similarily, fridges stay clean for longer if left empty

I am not implying a thing. Secunia implied it all.

So, do Not shoot the messenger.

-There are Clean Fridges -although they are full of products-,

because these Fridges' owners take a good care of them.

-On the other hand, there are Fridges left empty,

but these Fridges are full of Μold,

because Nobody took a good care of them for ages.

PC users must be careful of what they install and run...

No one suggested to run "vanilla" windows ...

...and No :shit: at all, Joker...

By using Virtualization, Sandboxing etc.

By Not applying 3rd party software directly; without fully testing it before.

Secunia has been a reputable international IT security company .

Captain Obvious,

Zero-day Attack Vulnerabilities have Not been Obvious at all!

At least, not the way your :fool: pics imply...
