SlimRock
Wrong Section, Should have been posted in Software Chat! :) Teamviewer is the Best Remote Desktop application, Second alternative is RADMIN, you can also use built in windows Remote Desktop feature Which fits both in Freeware & Commercial Environments. For System backup/Restore you can use AX64 Time Machine! Edit Note: Information Added! Edited February 23, 2014 by SlimRock

mike.mt
I have plan to start my own business in computer maintenance, solution provider.I need some suggestions from expert regarding this scenario...We divide into sub-categorize also like Freeware, Commercial, resource wise, feature wise1- what is the best remote desktop software for remote support like installation, remove viruses, update, file transfer.2- Which System restore preferred like Rollback Restore/RX, Deep freeze, Farstone Restoreit,Waiting for replies eagerly........... :argue: :wut:@child....To flawlessly administer all of our remote corporate sites on an enterprise level for efficiency + security... I use Softether... http://www.softether.org/ A breeze to configure through firewalls..............Freeware Windows / Linux..Probably one of, if not the best VPN solution available for remote server, workstation, file transfer management / administration & ultra simple to deploy.Active Directory integration is a synch.. supports Dynamic DNS / Azure for sites without static IP along with blazing speed. ie enables you to get the max out of your up / down link & that of the remote site. You can manage RDP connections to remote servers & workstations through MultiDesk... http://www.syvik.com/multidesk/ ..& can either carry out file / folder administration / transfer through RDP or explorer..In the same way as if you were connected internally to the network.I have been using this solution for all of our local & international remote sites since March 2013 & have nothing but praise mate.. Before SoftEther, Bitvise had been my favorite for years..https://www.bitvise.com/ & RADMIN before that...Please bear in mind that vpn file transfer speeds depend on the Uplink internet connection. A 1mbps. up connection transfers at 1/8th of 1MB / second, meaning that a 100 meg file would take over 13 mins to squirt across to another site in perfect conditions (low ping / latency).. So if you were considering doing this seriously... IMHO get the fastest you can afford. You may also wish to consider that what you deploy also depends on the IT configuration @ the clients side..For an AV solution your choice is massive...On the system restore side... I would recommend Easesus / Acronis for server imaging / incremental file back ups & bare metal recovery... Both of these products have never let me down...If you are considering extending support services to home users. It may become a PITA as there are so many factors outside your control (One being that you cant connect to a remote box that has a TCP/IP stack rogered by malware or cannot boot). Along with extracting your support fees from a client is difficult remotely. :)I wish you all the best on your new venture...
