vlc doesn't work after applying update. :(

Use Splash PRO EX ;)

na i uninstalled all the updates as they were yet not final and i was risking system stability(recognized after the behaviour of my system, but loved how now apps have traditional minimize and close buttons)

and vlc works again!!!

Okay. First Check Your Windows Version .... x86 or x64

Then Check It Is Pro , Single Language Etc ETc.
