anuseems
Search engine Google has warned its Glass users not to be so creepy a major feat for those wandering around with cameras strapped to their skulls.According to a FAQ posted by Google you are not supposed to stand in the corner of the room and record people with Google Glass. It is starting to look like Google's main headache with the Glass platform is that users are plonkers who will not be admitted into polite society because they will be filming down women's cleavages and up skirts and broadcasting the footage to Facebook.Google has twigged that Glass's future rests largely on the public's acceptance of the technology. It released Glasses to those it called Explorers to show off the technology. However it appears that some of them are not showing off the technology in its best light. On Google's do's and don'ts list the search engine says:"Don't be creepy or rude (aka, a "Glasshole"). Respect others and if they have questions about Glass don't get snappy. Be polite and explain what Glass does and remember, a quick demo can go a long way. In places where cell phone cameras aren't allowed, the same rules will apply to Glass. If you're asked to turn your phone off, turn Glass off as well. Breaking the rules or being rude will not get businesses excited about Glass and will ruin it for other Explorers."Of course it is always going to be hard to tell people who look like they are wearing wielding goggles and appear to be talking to themselves not to be creepy. Particularly if you they have cameras attached to their faces.https://sites.google.com/site/glasscomms/glass-explorers Edited February 20, 2014 by anuseems

Alanon
Oh, come on, that's going to be the only appeal of the contraption. And when they add x-ray vision or nightvision, it will become creep fest. I wonder how long from now will glass-porn start cropping up?
