kn_andre
It appears another Windows Phone 8.1 screen shot has leaked, this time from a presentation of the OS explaining its features. In the slide, which appears appropriately formatted, we can see the Windows Phone 8.1 action center, which initially shows some quick access toggles, but which can then be pulled down to reveal a list of notifications, which according to the slide can be managed directly by apps. Notifications can also be cleared all in one go.The “action center” is activated by swiping from the top of the screen, like on other platforms. The slide has been revealed by winphollowers.com, who says they have more to reveal, and I suspect on this occasion we are looking at the real deal.Source : http://wmpoweruser.com/new-screenshot-leak-shows-windows-phone-8-1-action-center/

kn_andre
Update Swype-type Keyboard coming to Windows Phone According to Tom Waren, Senior Reporter from The Verge, who claims to have seen Windows Phone 8.1, a Swype-style keyboard is coming to the OS (although of course he did not say which version or when). In the days of Windows Mobile the OS has multiple keyboard plugins, much like Android, but in the era of Windows Phone there has only been one (very good) choice (for western alphabets at least). The Swype gesture-based keyboard is pretty popular on Android, and appears to be much in demand on Windows Phone, if the User Voice entry for the item is any indication, which has nearly 3000 votes. If this does show up on Windows Phone 8.1 I suspect very few will be unsatisfied with the magnitude of the update.Source : http://wmpoweruser.com/swype-type-keyboard-coming-to-windows-phone/
