nanana1
This software has been a mess for quite some time now with each release having its own issues. :wtf:2.0.5 remained the most sane version for me. B)
Fallon
Here's a freebie that can clean windows associations if a program has taken over as default:http://www.winhelponline.com/blog/unassociate-file-types-windows-7-vista/ <A Utility to Unassociate File Types in WindowsNot tried by me under Win 8x.• Remove file association (User)Removes the user-specific association (via the Open With dialog) for the chosen file type.• Delete file typeDeletes the file type completely from the registry. nimd4
Hey guys!.. :)I'm not @ my uncle's PC && I don't have access to it ATM, but (a few days ago) on his Windows XP Service Pack 3: I was unable to get VLC 2.1.3 to load w/the GUI. I tried *everything* there is to do / followed any-and-all (online && offline :)) instruction (and searched 'every gas station, residence, warehouse, farmhouse, henhouse, outhouse and doghouse', for the solution, to na avail :))Without getting too much into it, does anyone -maybe- know what could've been the issue?!?? Just btw., tnx!!
