 Thanks for Sharing the update!

But I've got a weird issue with my .m4a/mp3 files, VLC association icon is replaced by .exe etc! :o

Already tried this & Resource Hacker but still same issue. Sometimes after the reboot everything seems to be normal but issue still persists at random times! :(

I have completely uninstalled the VLC using Revo Uninstaller Pro & Total Uninstall, cleared the registry/ Trash, Now the media Icons are associated with Revo uninstaller Pro!(Without installing VLC) :o

When I try to download the 32 bit version I get "404 Not Found"

read above -.- http://www.nsaneforums.com/topic/205475-vlc-videolan-media-player-213/?do=findComment&comment=734359

Thanks SPECTRUM. I deleted both 32 and 64 bit downloads. I'll wait until the next version comes out, if it works. I always say, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it"

Here's a freebie that can clean windows associations if a program has taken over as default:
http://www.winhelponline.com/blog/unassociate-file-types-windows-7-vista/ <A Utility to Unassociate File Types in Windows
Not tried by me under Win 8x.
• Remove file association (User)
Removes the user-specific association (via the Open With dialog) for the chosen file type.
• Delete file type
Deletes the file type completely from the registry. Both the user-specific and global associations for the chosen file type is removed.

Hey guys!.. :)

I'm not @ my uncle's PC && I don't have access to it ATM, but (a few days ago) on his Windows XP Service Pack 3: I was unable to get VLC 2.1.3 to load w/the GUI. I tried *everything* there is to do / followed any-and-all (online && offline :)) instruction (and searched 'every gas station, residence, warehouse, farmhouse, henhouse, outhouse and doghouse', for the solution, to na avail :))

Without getting too much into it, does anyone -maybe- know what could've been the issue?!?? Just btw., tnx!!
