Does Box-Mara Fix 1.3 works with Eset v2 and v3? Im planning to install v2 at my old laptop.

It does not work for v2 as far as I know but I believe it does work for v3. For v2 you can use NodLogin or NodEnabler(one of them, or both, works :P).

I used to use another fix similar to box mara...looks like I am the only one with it...but anyway simple name NOD32.Fix.v.2.2.exe...you have to add two files to the exclusions list and then it works great.. never have to worry again..NOD32 v2 is what first hooked me on ESET. It was non-intrusive on single core 1.6 GHz and lower computers..and it did its job.. The next two versions are a little more intensive on the computer unless you have it set up correctly in he right areas.. I was thinking about upping an XML with the settings but I would need to remove a section or two like the firewall entries/IDS...those would need to be set per/individual and active monitoring would probably differ from person to person

Box Mara fix 1.3 gives a Kernal Error on fix & unfix.

Even though I get the error message the fix is working fine.

XP sp3.

That's strange. Can you tell me exact steps of how you you did the process so I can try to reproduce the error? Did you Fix it, and then UnFix it immediately without closing the box, mara- fix. Or you closed it, and then run it again to UnFix it? More info please.

Cheers ;)

downloaded box mara 1.3

self-d off

reboot

unfixed the 1.2(reg key with the 1.3 .EXE) (also got the error) (didnt reboot after unfix of 1.2)

fixed with 1.3 (forgetting to tick the box for self-d on) so unfixed once again then ticked the box for self-d on

reboot

yeah i didnt close the fix when fix/unfixing.

I cant recall getting the error on 1.2,

Have been asking not only here but also on another websites if someone had issues on Windows7 (64 bits) and NodEnabler 3.2.3 and just received 3 replies saying everything was fine and no issues found, which means NodEnabler v.3.2.3 works on all Systems (WinXP, WinBlister and Win7 = x86 & x64) without problems found till now.

That`s why can call it " The "worst" ESET fix of ever ". At least for me .

PS:_ Don`t know where to download ? See Page 27 - Post 531 , this Topic.

Cheers
