Google Chrome 32.0.1700.76 Stable

Google Chrome is a browser that combines a minimal design with sophisticated technology to make the web faster, safer, and easier. Google Chrome also uses a brand new javascript engine (V8), which is much faster than existing javascript interpreters. This means you can create more complex and more intensive AJAX applications with fewer speed and processing constraints. Finally, Google Chrome is built on top of Blink (WebKit fork), so Google Chrome users will benefit from the CSS3 features being added to Blink (WebKit fork)as those features are released.

Thanks to Hung_UT® and november_ra1n for the update.

Time to dump Chrome.....They removed the arrows from the window scroll bars and indicate that they have no intention of putting them back....Per google they removed them to make the browser more consistent across all platforms.

You will like whether you do or not......To heck with that.

I don't seem to be having much luck getting the offline installer via that link.

Offline

http://cache.pack.google.com/edgedl/chrome/win/2E32B722CAE46A98/32.0.1700.76_chrome_installer.exe

You can extract it (twice), move all files in same directory (or else it won't run) and run it.

This way you'll save yourselves from the Google update shit

Optionally run with the command

--user-data-dir=.\Profile

to have it portable (not stealth)

no need to extract the file because there no updater inside this installer

updater only in online installer or standalone offline installer

Right! I got confused with the standalone.

Extract it, if you wanna run it from a custom folder and not make it default browser automatically

Can anyone confirm this compatibility issue with Skype with Chrome v32?

Open Chrome and then minimize

Log into your skype

Close Chrome

Open Chrome again and then the message of Chrome was not closed correctly will appear.

Look at task manager and skype keeps eating 30% or more of cpu all the time. You choose to exit skype and the task keep running in background eating the cpu.

UPDATE: fixed with the new version of skype 6.13

Fixed: High processor usage with Chrome as default browser
