Oh thanks, I was wondering how to do so and the only way I found so far was to add an other boot entry that let you to boot in normal or safe mode (like Linux with GRUB and recovery boot). The standard way waits the system to unexpectedly shut down a few times before showing a prompt.

Fortunately I never had to boot in safe mode yet.

Do you know if it make the legacy boot menu policy make the boot slower ?
