Turk
CES 2014 is well under way and we've received our official confirmation from Intel that Windows and Android dual operating system computers are indeed real. In fact, Intel will be providing processors that will power dual operating system computers that can switch between Windows and Android with the press of a button.During a CES keynote earlier today, Intel's CEO Brian Krzanich mentioned that the company will power devices that run both operating systems, although he didn't go into much detail. We learned about the Asus Transformer Book Duet TD300 earlier today, which runs both Windows 8.1 and Android. This device is also being touted as the world's first quad-mode dual-operating-system laptop and tablet convertible. It will be interesting to see how well this concept of having a dual operating system will be and if it picks up steam with consumers. Would you purchase a decently priced Windows 8.1/Android computer or would your rather have a single operating system?http://www.winbeta.org/news/intel-confirms-it-will-power-devices-run-both-windows-81-and-androidComment: Ron, the article's author, is asking this question, not me! nIGHT
I was about to post it here, not this news, but a leak info from my favorite boss. hehehe! He said in last friday meeting that we are going to push for products with dual operating systems, that runs both on android and 8.1. Boy, he is well ahead of us getting some leaks. :notworthy:He also said that some, could be one or two models, will be on android and some Linux based distros. I can't wait for April or May to come, worst could come in July. hehehe! :dance2: Edited January 8, 2014 by nIGHT
