Hi WRonce,

WinDVD has no region code. I have 5 remaining changes still.

Regarding this:

  • AnyDVD Blue Ray settings, (this will overdrive your settings) check and enable:
    • Blu-ray support,
    • Remove Blu-Ray Region Code
    • and set it to Automatic.

I'm confused last year i've never touched that setting and i could play without problems, what happened?

I could select remove blu-ray region code but i have a doubt, will that make use of 1 of my 5 permanent changes? cause a window appears:

I'm afraid of pressing accept....

As i already said i've never ever needed to enable this: Remove Blu-Ray Region Code...............something changed.

Update: wait i remember something last December i played this using this:

1.jpg

connected to a mac book pro, no anydvd envolved................Maybe i have forgotten that once a time i enabled that option in my windows 7 PC........

sorry old expression ;) master and slave HDD

you can just have one device which will set the region code, in your case

- AnyDVD MASTER - here settings see post#101

- Bluray Drive - NO changes

- Player Software - NO changes

ufffff.... one more time, LAST ACTIVE DEVICE will set region code it doesn´t matter wchich one, build in or portable!

so if your disc and player thrue blueray player build in or extern, detect different region it will not play.

you have mitchmach error in your settings!

You don´t need to change

Will i be using 1 of my 5 permanent changes? (hardware ones)

or make settings here

update: installed powerdvd 13 and finally could play the disc using anydvd.................i guess the corel guys are getting smarter than the anydvd guys or there is something else that im not getting.

UPDATE

Only to finally report that WinDVD Pro 11.5 worked and the latest version 11.6 doesn't. So, i finally detected the culprit, the upgrade 11.6 messes with the region even anydvd can't fix that.
