uTorrent is an efficient and feature rich BitTorrent client for Windows sporting a very small footprint. It was designed to use as little cpu, memory and space as possible while offering all the functionality expected from advanced clients. With uTorrent, you can download files faster and contribute by sharing files and bandwidth. Additionally, uTorrent supports the Protocol Encryption joint specification (compatible with Azureus 2.4.0.0 and above, BitComet 0.63 and above) and peer exchange.

Thanks to Hung_UT® for the update.

Thx! At some point, uTorrent made the decision to "mark" certain trackers - i.e. "http://tracker.thepi...ay.org/announce" and others - as "offensive" - no configuration will "unmark them". Is there some kind of patch that overcomes this restriction? [And, do you all know what I'm talking about??]

first, see if your "preferences > advanced > bt.use_dns_tracker_prefs" is true (true is default value)

by default, your client uses opendns (208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220) to query domains, opendns blocks tracker.thepiratebay.org

to see if your system-wide configured dns server blocks a domain, open a command line and write:

nslookup tracker.thepiratebay.org

127.0.0.1 means you failed the test

if it sucess please write back here your results, and change them in:

"preferences > advanced > isp.primary_dns" (default is 208.67.222.222)

"preferences > advanced > isp.secondary_dns" (default is 208.67.220.220)

please excuse my low level english language, this is not my natural language
