Why? :oNo need to replace IDMGrHlp.exe any more that fix exe does everything you need however if you already modified or replace this file then you need to uninstall older version and delete this file cause when you install new version can not install IDMGrHlp.exe over it.Alternatively if you keep original IDMGrHlp.exe then replace with modify one before updating. Even if you did, idm gives fake serial and pirated software error.@Can Eryavuz , it works for me still no problems yet.One thing that was not working is old fixes , I test them on Windows 7 SP1 x64 and Windows 8.1 x64The same thing happens after about a week, I got a fake serial with patch exe on both coumputers, for the last few updates .Maybe the Updated fix may work better for every one. steven36 Posted November 28, 2013 Share Posted November 28, 2013 My problem was not registration with an patch exe , It was after like a week it would call home, and give me and fake key warning.So if someone says something is working for this, in my case you need to make it trigger the call home check maybe set your clock up to make it check for updates , I dont know I dont fool with my clock , but I know after like a week it happen.So how can someone say something work when just updated today?I use to test software a very long time, and lots of software have hidden time checks.
