I always cracked this app on my own, but this time it's not an easy task and quite time consuming. Casper Posted November 26, 2013 Share Posted November 26, 2013 I'm not seeing any high CPU usage or anything, but as of today I keep on getting a popup telling me IDM is registered with a fake serial! It always said this after an update, but after patching (with Babelpatcher) it wouldn't give the message again until I updated IDM. But today it started without any update.. A "virus" by its very nature will infect a system and copy itself to other files/systems. You can not class this as a virus for this very fact. Yes it may have some of the symptoms of a virus but its NOT a virus. This can only be aclassed as malware or an unwanted program, its NOT a virus.
