Guys, the fix works. You need to delete the keys using regedit.

I uninstalled IDM and had the same problems using november_ra1n's fix/serials. I went into regedit and deleted the folder (IDM) with all keys ( it has a babel key). I installed it again after cleaning up and it works like a charm.

Go - regedit- Local machine-software-WOW6432node-Internet download manager- delete folder and install-patch-and inter serial.

SO can u tell us after u deleted the regedit

because from what u said seems that u were using babel patch

but after u deleted the regedit u installed idm with babel again or novemberrain

dear friend i did what u said

uninstall IDM with YUinstaller

restarted my pc

deleted the regedit - thx for provide the location was so helpful

then installed idm latest version from official site trial not retail provided in novemberrain file

and then copied the patched.exe from novemberrain to install location in C

registered with provided S.N

till now i didn't get this pop up stupid message any more for 10 mins now

i don't know it will come again soon or never

In Installation Directory renaming IDMGrHlp.exe stop sending fake serial popup this is the quick fix at the moment

Open notepad. Save a blank document as IDMGrHlp.exe on IDM folder. Popup will not appear.

Hi boys... i'm new here and i have same "problems" with fake serial pop up....... i have resolve downloading this file:

This a NULL exe file.......... it's a EMPTY FILE .exe........ nothing to execute and only 2,00KByte :)

I have extracted it and copy to IDM Folder... rename the original "IDMGrHlp.exe" and put this exact name to this "null.exe"

Open IDMan.exe and nothing error and no more POPUP whit FAKE SERIAL has been appears..........

for the moment i followed this steps and since 1.30 hour didn't get any pop up

i hope it is permanent fix till we get another fix from our developers here in NSANE

1 - clean uninstall with YUinstaller

2 - clean ur pc with CCleaner

3 - reboot ur system

4 - delete the regedit

Go - regedit- Local machine-software-WOW6432node-Internet download manager- delete folder and install-patch-and inter serial.

5 - setup latest fresh version for IDM from the official site or the retail version from Novemberra1n

6 - copy the crackedfix from Novemberra1n to setup location

6 - register with any S.N provided in text from Novemberra1n

here's what i did. to get rid of the fake registration:

exit idm

create a text file on desktop

rename it to IDMGrHlp.exe

copy and overwrite the IDMGrHlp.exe to idm installation folder

run the idm.exe

errors gone....

for now.

still dunno what's gonna happen next. :D
