Yahoo-Mail-Starts-Working-Again-For-Most

Yahoo Mail seems to be back for a lot of users, many hours after it started glitching, ending up in a completely unusable service.

For many hours on end users were greeted by a page stripped of all graphic elements, with no background, buttons or even emails, save for some links that are usually placed on the Yahoo Mail page.

While it was possible to switch temporarily to the mail’s basic version, it didn’t bring a big improvement, although it was possible to go through messages in this mode.

During the many hours when the service was having troubles, many other users weren’t even allowed to log into the service.

Now, however, the pages of the new Yahoo Mail seem to be working properly for most of those who have complained about the issues. Whether this problem is still affecting users is unknown.

Yahoo has not issued any explanation on the matter so far.

I didn't even know this until someone asked about it since it's been quite long I haven't accessed Yahoo Mail on the web. I still could receive e-mails on a client.

I'm ready to get rid of my Yahoo account. Been having to load the basic mail for the past several weeks and still no fix. The pop up on the bottom for basic mail doesn't even load, i have to manually change the url.

Yeah, Yahoo Mail is really slow since they started changing things a while back and forced us to use the new interface. That's why I prefer to access it on a client or my phone.

It all makes perfect sense when one considers that yahoo is a mikr0$0ft property now.

As soon as those real-life pirates took over it got worse than ever before.

A replacement email provider with better services is yandex mail - free - with POP3, IMAP and no yahoo baloney.

Another is gmx.com

Oh, no wonder it doesn't work. Microsoft owns Yahoo, it all makes sense now.

Yahoo in the 90's was good.

Then 00 came and they were at the top of the hill in a cart, that just started to move and then went and is still going down hill fast.

The chat rooms went, the chat monitors went, the games rooms became full of morons, as the games monitors went, sites are stuffed with adverts.

Geocities they got rid of.

Yahooligans they got rid of.

Yahoo is poor now, I occasionally play yahoo pool, but that is a swizz now.

I email yahoo they don't reply.

I phone yahoo and they pass the buck and say email.
