Matsuda
Google Chrome is getting better and better at protecting users from the bad stuff on the internet, and there's certainly a lot of that. Very recently, Google announced that Chrome would begin blocking all malicious downloads by default. In another safety-related change, Google is changing the phishing warning in Chrome to differentiate it from malware warnings.Normally, when you reach a page that Google believes is infected with malware, you get a big warning notifying you of the danger. The warning page has a red, hard to miss background. Now though, "Phishing" and "SSL warnings" in general get a yellow background page, so that users recognize the difference between a clearly infected page and something that may not be what they believe it is.The new yellow warning pages show up in the latest Chrome Canary builds, so they should be making their way to the dev channel builds soon.View: Original Article Edited November 4, 2013 by Matsuda
