Matsuda
Microsoft has just released a brand new Windows 8.1 update aimed at x64 and x86 workstations, trying to fix a number of issues in the operating system. The new update, labeled KB2902892, is supposed to correct errors affecting the Modern version of Skype on Windows 8.1 and Windows Server 2012 R2.“When you start the Skype Windows Store app in Windows 8.1 or in Windows Server 2012 R2, the app immediately crashes, and Windows returns to the Start screen,” Microsoft explained in an advisory. “This issue occurs when the computer uses an Intel® HD Graphics 3000 (Sandy Bridge) graphics device.”As usual, the patch is being delivered via the built-in Windows Update, so user input is minimal if this particular OS feature is turned on. Additionally, you can manually download the patch from its official webpage.View: Original Article Edited October 29, 2013 by Matsuda
