Matsuda
Google is continuing to push its cloud printer initiative. It's been working on the technology, which is bundled with Chrome, for years now. In the most recent Chrome builds you'll notice a new "Inspect Devices" in the "Tools" menu. Regular users may find it a bit strange that Google would put so much effort (or any effort) into something that only affects very few people, especially as the company has been shutting down smaller products with niche appeal like there's no tomorrow. But the support for cloud printer technology makes a lot more sense when you look at the enterprise market, where printers are still very much needed. While Google can't be labeled an enterprise company just yet, it's been building up an arsenal of tools that make a lot of sense for businesses, tools like the Chromoting remote desktop app for Chrome and Cloud Print. Even Google+ Hangouts started out as an internal videoconferencing tool at the company.Original Article
