Run ESET installer as like you normally would install anything else (DO NOT run box fix b4 u launch the installer!)2. Disable Self Defense in the HIPS section of Advanced Setup area3. Reboot computer as instructed so it fully disables the Self Defense mechanisms4. Temporarily disable all protections (so it doesn't flag the program as malware or w/e it does now)5. Run the Box Fix6. Then when done patching, close box fix window after successfully patched and then re-enable Self Defense on HIPS section of Advanced Setup7. WAIT for all updates to finish and apply themselves8. Then reboot machine... ALL DONE after u reboot!Instructions updated for easier understanding :)BTW, I have informed Mara of this issue already so he will be on the prowl to fix it so you can run Box Fix b4 setup (like u were able to on Version 6!) Since more than a year I am using Webroot and, in fact, I cannot complain about how it works (I have always my computer connected to the Internet, if you may ask). My question: is the new Eset better than Webroot? And I am not only interested in protection, but also in not overloading my micro, so the antivirus has to be light and good.Eset and Webroot are powerful and well known protection solutions but I think Eset is lighter than Webroot on system and beside Eset was the 1st award winning AV for netbooks :)Try Eset SS v7 , It has many major protection improvements ;) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
