However, the bogus notifications are simply designed to lure users to rogue pharmacy websites.The emails purport to come from companies like Apple, Yahoo, Twitter and Google and they’re designed to trick recipients into clicking on a link.The links could very well lead to a phishing site that instructs users to hand over their login credentials and other sensitive information. However, they point to all sorts of sites advertising various pharmaceutical products.In some of the scam emails, the spammers used Google Translate and changed the encoding of a few letters to ASCII in order to avoid spam filters.If you come across such emails, ignore them. Also, never purchase anything from untrusted pharmacy websites, since you’ll likely end up paying for a counterfeit product that can put your health at risk.
