VirtualBox 4.3.0

Recommended Posts

VirtualBox is an application installed on an existing host operating system; within this application, additional operating systems can be loaded and run, each with its own virtual environment. For example, several Linux distributions can be hosted on a single machine running Windows XP; likewise, XP and Vista can run on a machine running Linux, and so on. There is a free for personal or evaluation use proprietary version and a GNU General Public License (GPL) version.

ZinnPL, for now I would recommend deselecting the network drivers upon installation and just use NAT. I used to install VB's full networking, but I grew tired of occasional weirdness and the need to reboot with every single installation. NAT isn't as versatile as full networking, of course.

On another subject, I think they changed something in this release relative to VB disks, since upon running the UI it's complaining about numerous VB disks of mine as if they no longer exist. I clicked "Ignore" for now.
