Google has started rolling out their update for the Google.com homepage. The update removes the black bar at the top of the page and also sports a new flatter logo, which can be seen below.

The site also features a new "Apps" menu instead of the black bar across the top of the page, which can also be seen in greater detail below.

The update was rolled out in the U.K. three weeks ago, but was only available to a limited amount of users at the time.

Although this appears to be available in The Netherlands, it hasn't been pushed out worldwide yet. Google is likely staggering the update, so let us know in the comments if you have it yet!

Yeah, we've been subjected to this new design on and off for the past few weeks here on Google.co.in. From earlier this week though, the older design seems to be gone for good. Not a biggie either way though ;)

Back to the days before the black bar. I never liked the black bar anyways. BTW I have been seeing this new layout already for a few weeks in NL
